American actress Lisa Ann Walter gained notoriety for her role in “The Parent Trap.” She also worked as a writer, producer, and stand-up comedy.

She started out as a stand-up comedian, performing at various venues in and around New York. In the TV series “My Wildest Dreams,” she made her debut.

After her debut series, she made numerous film and television appearances, including one of her own creations called “Life’s Work.”

The Best Thing About My Ass Is That It’s Behind Me,” a funny memoir she also wrote, was released in May 2011.

On the Los Angeles radio station KFI, she aired her own discussion show. The multifaceted personality is well known for having experience in producing, writing, and acting.

Lisa Ann Walter started out with stand-up comedy. She spent five years doing stand-up comedy before appearing in her own Fox Network comedy series, “My Wildest Dreams,” in 1995.

She developed her own sitcom, titled “Life’s Work,” in 1996. The story of a divorced woman juggling a successful career and family served as the basis for the sitcom.

ABC broadcast the show until 1997. She played Claudine, Whoopi Goldberg’s sidekick, in the 1996 film Eddie.

Walter further made appearances in a number of TV shows, such as “The Love Boat: The Next Wave” (1998), “Strong Medicine” (2001), and “Breaking News” (2002).

She played Mabel the bartender in the MyNetworkTV soap opera “Watch Over Me” in the seasons 2006–2007.

She served on the panel of judges for the ABC reality TV program “The Next Best Thing” during the same time period.

On the Los Angeles radio station KFI, Walter also hosted her own talk show. The Fabulous Lisa Ann Walter Show was the name of her talk show.

Beginning in May 2011, the program ran on Saturdays and Sundays. She opted to leave the show in 2014 so she could concentrate on acting.
